Steven has more than 20 years of experience in new product development, brand management, consumer research, and presentation building in consumer durable goods for companies such as Wahl, Pampered Chef, Thomson RCA, Mirro/Wearever/Calphalon a division of Newell Rubbermaid, and GTC International. He also taught Marketing as an adjunct professor for Robert Morris College in 2004.
Steven has worked at Wahl for the past 13 years, starting as a Senior Product Manager where he helped triple the grooming business in 6 years. In June 2011, Steven was promoted to Director of Marketing, where he led the division to double digit growth for 4 consecutive years. In April of 2015, he was promoted to Vice President of Marketing North American Division for Wahl. Steven has a diverse background in Consumer Electronics, Housewares and Personal Care. He is passionate about understanding the consumer and using an omni channel approach to marketing. His track record spans over 20 years earning several patents and introducing new products that changed the landscape of several industries. In 2014, the Wahl lithium ion trimmer, which he championed, was selected as one of the top 25 products of the past 25 years by Homeworld Magazine. Despite his title, Steven is a hands-on executive actively involved in consumer research, lean product development, packaging, ecommerce, PR, and advertising.
Steven is married to Patty and with her have their hands full with three children in high school.
