Greg Ambrose leads Cineplex Entertainment’s Loyalty, Insights, and Guest Experience teams with the priority objectives of advancing customer knowledge, ensuring industry-leading guest service, and driving desired behaviours to increase both short-term and lifetime value to the business. In addition, Greg oversees Cineplex’s loyalty relationship with the SCENE loyalty program to encourage effective member engagement across all business lines while capturing critical customer insight to inform organizational strategy. Founded in 2007 as a joint venture between Cineplex and Scotiabank, SCENE is one of Canada’s leading loyalty programs, surpassing 10 million members in 2019.
Before joining Cineplex in June 2017, Greg held research and strategy positions at Jackman Reinvents, Tim Hortons, Coca-Cola and Indigo Books with a strong focus on creating and strengthening deep customer relationships through knowledge and engagement. He holds an Honours B.A. in Philosophy from McGill University and an MBA from the Rotman School at the University of Toronto.
